Where do we source tech sheets?
Tech sheets are sourced from the producer and/or sole U.S. supplier because they appear across all distributor portfolios that list this product on the SevenFifty marketplace.
Distributor-specific tech sheets cannot be loaded since they are shared across all marketplaces.
Portfolio Managers have the ability to edit their products, add tech sheets, and add more product information. To learn more, see: How to edit your products
What is the difference between sell sheets and tech sheets?
SevenFifty uploads tech sheets that are educational resources or provides more information about the product. Sell sheets typically list distributor-specific information pertaining to the sale of the product in their market.
What can be found on a tech sheet:
- Producer description
- Product description
- Image of product or label
- Production or vinification methods
- Tasting notes
- Food pairings
- Service information
SevenFifty does not upload documentation that communicates information features about the sale of the product, such as:
- Identity of a specific distributor
- Pricing
- Pallet size
- Selling tactics or selling information
- UPC codes
What format for tech sheets are acceptable?
SevenFifty can only accept tech sheets that are sent as PDF or image formats (jpeg, png). Word documents or pages documents cannot be loaded.
Tech sheets submitted via suggestions through a distributor account will be compared against supplier and producer collateral. If the tech sheet suggestions are from the sole U.S. supplier they will be added to the marketplace.
